2024 rolled through the paces. Notable:

-Bill had the lowest round of the week.

-5 of 6 people voted to scrap the last day due to wind, rain and cold. Turns out they were wrong on all three counts.

-Amazing as it seems, the highest review scores for meals went to the side dishes. The respectable main courses just couldn’t hold up against items such as toasted hamburger buns.

-We got to play with an 86-year-old guy that kicked butt and a guy that hadn’t played in three months but was third level down at the United Nations (or so he claimed).

-The times picked for tee times were stunningly magnificent; without equal; perfection in practice.

-Despite seven recounts of cash, the Commissioner of the Alabama game just couldn’t make the numbers work. Upon review, what was paid out was also a total number that matched nothing. High man was somebody, probably the Commissioner, but who really knows. Best course of action is probably to make all goals even for the next event and just work through the issues.

-Stan Bialkowski and Mike Vining joined us to frolic around the Pawleys Plantation spread. They still haven’t returned to normal.

-I was and am out of sorts, so the above ramblings may not have any basis in truth. And I probably forgot a few dozen other highlights. Let me know what to add to this page.
