The third installment of our assault on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is in the archives. We assaulted the middle of the state, folding in two new locations and revisiting a previous. The new were Grand National near Auburn and Cambrian Ridge near Greenville. The old was Capital Hill near Prattville.
As always, there were a few memorable moments. The foremost of those was a seriously successful punk job on our own Steevanator during a hand of cards. I mean seriously. The birthday boy got his dinner treat of enchiladas, we introduced a slow cooker entrée and a different breakfast entrée. Patty dusted the pack for an overall average win. We played through one day of rain (it sucked) and we didn’t play the second 18 at Grand National.
Below is a short video depicting the banter one is likely to hear during a morning drive to the golf course. Sorry, but you will have to TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS, to hear the banter.
