8th installment at RTJ, planned to play winter rates while giving Oxmoor Ridge aeration a few extra days to heal. Cool week; may have touched 60 degrees once but dodged the rain and played all seven days. Brilliant play by three gents who all raised the bar on their Alabama Game point goal with Steve taking home the most bacon. Randy couldn’t meet goal but nipped the others for overall low average for the week. We may have played some really, really short tees this week.
Limestones Springs finally finished their renovation and we enjoyed it a couple times. Ross Bridge was still shut down due to bonehead putting weed killing on greens instead of fertilizer. Guy working the pro shop steered us to a “great” course, Bent Brook. We sampled that spread and it will be the last time we play in; pedestrian and flat. If we ever bump into this expert again, we will have words.
